About Rachel

Hi! My name is Rachel, and I'm currently a graduate student working toward my Master's in Mental Health Counseling. I have a genuine love for working with children and especially enjoy supporting kids who may struggle with big feelings, anxiety, or transitions. I've gained hands-on experience working with children in pediatric mental health and community settings, and I bring a calm, patient, and caring approach to babysitting. I've received training in play therapy, which has helped me understand how kids use play to express themselves, build confidence, and feel safe. While I'm not acting as a therapist, this background helps me connect with children in thoughtful, age-appropriate ways. I focus on creating an environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. I'm dependable, attentive, and truly enjoy building warm relationships with the families I work with. I'd love to help provide a fun, safe, and emotionally supportive experience for your children!
