About Rachel

I grew up in a very large family and have been caring for children since I was a child. With 15+ years of experience, I believe in childcare as community care and want to provide consistent and reliable support to families. As a caregiver I pride myself on my patience and creativity. I have expert in gardening and love to spend time outdoors exploring the world with kids and telling stories about what we see. My first language is English but I speak beginner Spanish and Hebrew. I am happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and travel. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, and for any issues that arise, I always check in with the parents so that we can work together to address them. My focus of study is in writing, and I love creating stories with children. If we're feeling creative, we can draw the story and characters together. I would be delighted to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for your child.
