Hi! My name is Rachel and I'm looking for a part-time position! Education and Background: - I have a BA in psychology & education from Mount Holyoke College - Previously studied psychology and human development & family sciences at the University of Connecticut - Experience with infants (11+ mos), toddlers (in a classroom environment), and children (6-11 yrs old) - Open to caring for children with disabilities (I myself wear hearing aids as I'm hard of hearing) My expectations for myself in a childcare position include: - Prioritizing your child's safety and wellbeing - Meeting/handling needs thoughtfully and appropriately - Encouraging and engaging exploration and curiosity - Being patient, flexible, and a good active listener *also applies when working with you, the parent(s) or primary caregiver(s) - Enjoy life in the moment, have fun!
