About Rachel

Hello! My Name is Rachel and I am a recent graduate of Temple's Physician Assistant Program. I am a fully licensed Physician Assistant which means that I am able to provide care at a level higher than a registered nurse. I was an EMT doing 911 First Response work for 4 years prior to my graduate training. I will be working in the emergency room but my credentialing paperwork takes 3-4 months to process so I am looking to help out in the interim! I am good with kids, have done multiple rotations involving pediatric care, including spending a month working in a pediatrician's office. I am trained as a generalist and I have advanced training in emergency situations. I have my CPR-AED BLS certification and I also have my Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). I was previously a lifeguard from ages 16-18 although I do not currently hold a lifeguard certification, I was a swimmer for 12 years and am trained in water life-saving care.
