About Rachel

Hello! I hold two master's degrees and have been tutoring on and off for many years! My areas of specialty include; English, essay writing, executive functioning skills (initiation, time management, organization, working memory, etc.), career services (resume writing, cover letters, mock interviews), Student Success (note-taking, test prep, study skills, etc.) and public speaking. I work with people of all ages from elementary school through college and adults. In addition, I work with students who have ADHD. It brings me joy to help others, and to assist people in understanding concepts that they previously could not understand. I try to make learning fun and engaging! One thing you should know about me is that I will always give 100% when I am tutoring and working with your student. I like to get to know a student's interests, and that helps me to get to know the person whom I am working with. This helps us to form a nice foundational bond as we move through our subject matter.
