I interviewed Rachel recently. She seemed very nice.I told her I was going to hire her pending her references and we confirmed her availability.I looked forward to hearing back from her after the interview and she ignored me moving forward. I reached out multiple times to confirm the job and obtain references but nothing.It is inappropriate to ignore a person or lead them on if you are not interested. It’s always safe to be honest and upfront so parents can move to the next qualifiedcandidate.
