About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel. I am looking for a part-time nanny gig to help me earn some extra cash so I can return to UNM to obtain my bilingual (Spanish) teaching endorsement. I spent the last school year teaching English abroad in Madrid, Spain. After returning this summer I am looking for a job in education. I believe in a holistic approach to teaching and caring for children. Kids should be allowed the space to grow and learn in their own time. It is our job as caregivers to provide them with the necessary scaffolds and support that challenge them to succeed. My past employers have described me as fun, energetic, patient, and responsible. I have my own transportation and a valid driver's license as well as passed a background check to allow me to substitute with schools around the city.
