About Rachel

Hi! My names Rachel and I'm new to Astoria. I relocated here with my friend who's in the coast guard! I just graduated with a degree in k-12 art teaching, I'm currently between college and my first teaching job and working as a Substitute teacher in the area. I'm looking for full or part time nanny/ child care work. Qualifications I have worked in a childcare facility for 3 years as a infant/ toddler teacher. I have my k-12 teaching license. And have worked as a sleep away camp counselor for 2 years with oldest kids in my cabin or the youngest for 3 weeks at a time! I have extensive experience working with ages birth- 15 and with children who have special needs. I feel very comfortable working with all ages. For 7 years I have been Red Cross lifeguard and swim instructor certified, so I can teach any kiddos to swim for no extra charge :) Message me if you want any more information and references from my previous employers or families I've worked with
