Hello! My name is Rachel! My passion is working with kids and helping them grow and learn new things! I have worked with kids for over 9 years now. I know how important it is to be able to trust the person you leave your kids with, and I am committed to earning your trust and confidence! I am responsible, hard-working, compassionate, and reliable! Some of my favorite activities to do with the kids is story time, arts and crafts, and music. I also love taking them on outings to zoos, parks, or museums. LGBTQ friendly and all walks of life!

Rachel (Gypsy) has looked after our toddler 6 or 7 times, and we cannot say enough great things about her.  We knew about her through our nanny who regularly organizes playdates with Rachel and her two kiddos.  The kids get along really well, and our child talks about "Gypsy" regularly.  She gets excited on days she is told that she is getting to see her.     We use the idea of getting to see Gypsy as motivation to getting out the door.  On a number of occasions, when our nanny is off, we have asked Rachel to be  nanny for a day.  Our daughter loves it!  It is so comforting to know that our girl is excited to see Gypsy and has a fun time with her.   Gypsy is creative and engages so nicely with children.   She just seems to be a natural at it.  She is our first choice for childcare whenever our nanny needs a day off.

Kind & reliable which are most valuable to me.

Rachel is incredibly experienced and quickly engages children! She arrived early, giving us time to show her where things are and came prepared with several ideas to play with both my 8mo and 3 year old. My 3year old had so much fun he asked if she could come back to play! My 8 mo is starting to have a little stranger anxiety but Rachel was so experienced my little one quickly warmed to her. We will definitely hire again!

Rachel has nannied for us and our friends in a “nanny share” , which our daughter joined at 4 months old. Rachel has been amazing from the very beginning, and we say all the time that we couldn’t imagine anyone else being able to handle two babies, now 6 and 9 months, with such skill, knowledge, patience, grace and love. There are moments that I think would overwhelm me even as a parent, but I never doubt that Rachel can handle anything the girls through at her. Rachel is always taking the girls out and about on adventures, doing activities and crafts at home, and is very focused on making sure they are meeting their milestones and supporting them in doing so. She loves our babies in the way a parent can only dream of. Not to mention, she is always early and very dependable. Highly recommend Rachel  if you’re looking for reliable, intentional care for your children. I hope she’s a part of our family for years to come. 

Rachel was amazing with our daughter. She planned a trip to a kids center for them to explore and kept me updated at all times with texts and pictures. So thankful we found her!

Rachel babysat for my 11 month old when we visited Nashville, and truly went above and beyond! She was understanding when he was nervous about a new person, sent me pictures throughout their time together, and even brought an art project to do with him. She made me feel totally safe leaving my baby, and I’d love to work with her again.

We are just a couple weeks into what I hope is a long relationship with Rachel. She is dedicated to her work and clearly sees caring for children as her calling. She has already done crafts with our 4 month old and is always looking for ways to make tummy time and other milestone exercises fun. She sings songs and cuddles with our baby. Rachel is a self starter and I can always depend on her to make our lives easier with baby things including baby laundry and washing bottles, etc.

For anyone looking for a trustworthy person to put you at ease while caring for your baby/babies, I would strongly recommend Rachel! ! I had 7 week old twins at the time when Rachel took on our nanny position job and she exceeded our nanny expectations. She is extremely knowledgeable in milestone/development techniques for newborns, dependable and flexible with any schedule you prefer. She made fun crafts with the babies (some artwork with footprints/hands) that was super creative and we will cherish forever! She kept me updated throughout the days on how they were doing and would include precious pictures, too! Most importantly, Rachel loved and cared for our babies like family. I'm devastated that our time with Rachel was cut short due to family business out of state. Rachel loves to work and loves what she does! She'll go above and beyond for you and your little ones. She's a gem!

I need temporary help for a few weeks and Rachel has already been amazing! She arrives early/on-time, is constantly doing activities with our girl (first day was gym/music lesson, out to lunch, walked the dog, took a trip to the park, played on the playground, painted, read, used stickers, etc.) and sends pics/updates throughout the day so that I still feel connected even though I'm missing spending time with my daughter. Highly recommend!

Rachel is wonderful and I feel at ease while she is caring for my children.  They love the fun activities and enrichment she provides.  I hope she is always available when we need care!

Rachel is a baby whisperer and a genuinely kind-hearted individual. Not only does she consider caring for your child her professional responsibility, but she also truly enjoys babies + kids, which is evident in her care taking. Rachel has been a great addition to our family.  She is reliable and punctual, and has been very flexible with changing schedules.  She keeps our son busy and he really enjoys being with her.   Rachel is great at redirecting with kindness and caring when he is up to his typical toddler shenanigans.

Rachel is the first person we ever trusted our child with other than a family member and she more than exceeded our expectations in a nanny. She is always on time, often early. She is so knowledgeable about children of all ages and has helped us so much with some feeding issues we were encountering. She puts children's safety above all else and I always felt so comfortable when my son was in her care. She keeps children constantly busy and away from screens.. always learning and having fun.   My son took to Rachel from day one and now his "ray-ray" is like part of our family!

Rachel is such a great addition to our family.  She's very reliable, safe, and is helping my older son with manners and his emotions.  She is an experienced caretaker and really engages with my kids.

Rachel had been such a blessing for our family. My daughter was belly laughing and squealing with joy all day, because she was having so much fun. She was very attentive to my 15 month old's needs while still engaging with my 3 year old. She has creative activities that help develop motor skills but are also fun. She is also very punctual (early!), which is very important for this working mom. Your kids are in good hands with Rachel!

Rachel has been our nanny for over year now. We have two under two and she's fantastic with both boys. On time, reliable, and extremely trustworthy. She comes up with activities that are age appropriate. Give them baths. Rachel has even helped with sleep training.

She is so sweet, was on time, and the kids loved her!
