About Rachel

Hi families, My name is Rachel. I am a certified teacher who is taking a break from teaching, and wants to use the skills I have to benefit a family. I just finished working with a family as a nanny/household manager for the last 1. 5 years. WhenI started, the kids were 1. 5 years old and 4 years old. I am no longer their nanny, because their youngest just started preschool! I have prepared her for the school, by teaching number and letter sense, learning to spell and write her name, and counting up to 20. I assisted the family with meal prepping, making lunch for the kids, and doing the kid's laundry twice a week. I also grocery shopped and drove the kids to their activities. I used to teach 2nd and 4th grade and can comfortably support any grade in homework and assist in other growth goals they may have.
