About Rachel

Hello! I currently work as a k-2 special education teacher but am licensed as a k-12 mild-moderate/moderate - intense special education teacher. Upon graduation, I received a Deaf Studies certification and earned my RBT license in ABA therapy. My background with children includes in-home care (for children and adults), head dance team coach, and numerous hours volunteering at schools and watching the children of family, neighbors, and friends. When I am not working, I enjoy exploring Colorado and finding new hikes/trails to take my dog on. We also enjoy going around town and looking for new restaurants, farmers markets, or coffee shops to test out! When I'm not outdoors or working you can find me at the gym or in the studio taking dance classes. I'm looking to further my experience and hoping to find an opportunity that is flexible, inviting, and respectful of myself and others. Whether it's for tutoring or extra help all around, I am eager to start and get to know you all!
