About Rachel

Hello! I currently work nights full-time with Jefferson Parish. I have child care experience through babysitting in high school. I am now a mother to a preschooler. I get along well with animals. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, affable, and congenial. I like working with kids because children are creative and inspiring. I'm looking for a job that provides a positive environment for both child and caregiver. I started working with kids when I was in high school - 2 years of paid babysitting and I also have four years of experience through my own child. In my spare time, I like to read and write, have movie nights with my son, and paint. One thing you should know about me I understand the "mom" perspective, and I will always follow/respect ground rules laid by parents. My skills include organization, creativity, and problem solving.
