About Rachel

Hi! I love animals and have had dogs and cats since I was born. Right now, I only have a cat and chinchilla, but I have spent my whole life taking care of both cats and dogs. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, friendly, and hard working. I'm looking for a job that lets me interact with and take care of animals. I volunteered at an animal shelter for cats for 6 months and gained a lot of experience there. I did training at a doggy daycare in Albany, I've learned how to properly handle a dog, how to get a dog to disengage with others and understand dog body language. I've had experience with all kinds of animals such cats, dogs, and exotic animals like bunnies. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, kinds and ages having given dogs medicine, chnaging diapers and brushing if needed. I would love to be able to pet sit for you! Just let me know the dates and time and I will be there for emergency stops or a regular walk in.
