About Rachel

I have 14+ years experience in child care and currently work as an occupational therapist in the school system, looking to make a change! I would love to be apart of providing a fun and nurturing environment to your child. Prior to my career as an OT, I spent 4 years as a full-time nanny for two separate families; 3 children in their infant/toddler years. I have experience in early education, age ranging from six months to eight years. Activities I enjoy doing with children include arts & crafts, trips to the park or the library, and encouraging the exploration of the world around them through play. I studied English literature at UNC Greensboro, so books and reading are a priority. I am conversational in Mandarin Chinese and American Sign Language.
