About Rachel

Hi everyone! I am a first grade teacher in a local district that is looking for evening/weekend nannying/babysitting jobs. I have 11 years of experience in childcare, working with multiple families as a care provider in their homes, as well as in a local childcare center. Starting at the age of 16, I spent time working with infants, toddlers, pre-k age students, and school age students with various backgrounds and ability levels. I graduated from SUNY Cortland with my Bachelors Degree in Inclusive Education (Grades 1-6). I am certified in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6), Early Childhood Education (Birth-2), and Literacy Education (Birth-12). I graduated with my Masters Degree in Literacy Education, and now am working in my second year as a teacher. I love working with children & helping them to grow and thrive! I have reliable transportation and flexible hours. :) I'd describe my personality as easy-going, flexible, and silly!
