About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel. I just moved to San Jose from Minneapolis back in August. I previously nannied for a family and their 1-year-old son for about 7 months back in 2021. Once I started a job with my degree, the family had another baby, and I came back and babysat for them for the next year until I moved to San Jose. I'm now looking for some part-time babysitting jobs. I am the second oldest of 6 girls, and I had a baby or toddler in my household from the time I was 8 years old until I was 16! My dad travels a lot for work which meant once I turned 16, I was in charge of my two youngest sisters, ages 3 and 5 at the time, for the occasional weekend. On top of taking care of my little siblings as a family obligation, I taught swimming lessons for 5 years from ages 3 months to adult! I also specialized in private lessons with children who needed specific attention for many different reasons like ADHD, blindness, autism, anger issues and Trisomy 21!
