About Rachael

In my past experiences, I have had the honour of accompanying children of varying ages within the realm of infants to young adults, with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities, in classroom, church and in-home settings, one-on-one and in small groups. Through this accompaniment in various roles and settings, as an Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher in Northwest Arkansas, Classroom Aide at Clear Horizons Academy for children on the Autism Spectrum, an Assistant with Fridays' Kids Respite for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a Direct Support Caregiver for an adolescent on the Autism Spectrum, I have witnessed the creativity of the youth individually and within the small groups they created, while having sought ways to have built upon and nurtured their development, creativity and unique gifts and skills.
