About Rachael

I'd describe my personality as positive, cheerful, and happy. I like working with kids because I want to leave a positive impact where the child looks forward to learning new things and provide learning experiences that that they will always remember even in adulthood. I'm looking for a job that provides meaningful experiences that I can carry with me into the future when working with children. I started working with kids when I was in my Early Childhood Education program in college through internships and being a nanny. In my spare time, I like to work on my fitness at the gym or on a hike. I am also enjoying planning my wedding this year as well. One thing you should know about me is that I am very outgoing. My skills include planning activities based on a child's interests, help children learn how to recognize intense emotions and give them healthy alternatives on how to deal with them, and I can craft my own activities from materials bought at places like Hobby Lobby.
