About Rachael

I started helping my mom care for my infant twin sisters at 8 and have loved doing so ever since! I babysat for 10+ families in my hometown of Chicago from age until I went to college. I studied abroad in France and occasionally cared for my host family's children (7 and 10) and dog. The summer after college I nannied two sweet boys (1 and 4) who could understand but not yet speak French. I continued their exposure and helped their comprehension by speaking French everyday. I haven't nannied regularly since as I moved from France, to LA, and then to Portland and have been, until recently, working full time as a designer in ethical fashion and traveling frequently for work. I am currently freelancing and focusing on music and have much more time in my schedule for little ones! I am a loving, energetic and playful aunt to two boys in Santa Barbara and two girls in Chicago. I am hoping to share that energy with some sweet kiddos here in Portland!
