I'm currently working on my Master's in Social Work, specializing in working with older adults, at UTA. I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and fun. I like caring for seniors because they are such an amazing group of people with so much to teach the younger generations. I enjoy spending time with them and getting to know them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills to better the lives of others. I started caring for seniors about 24 years ago with my grandmother who had Alzheimer's. Since then, I have been the go to person for friends and family to care for their older loved ones. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. My husband, our kids, and I love to play board games together. One thing you should know about me is I have had a lifelong passion for helping the elderly. This is why I am currently working on my MSW, so I can better the lives of the older community. My skills include patience, empathy, and experience.

Finding Rachel was a blessing for our family. She is helping our 90 year old father with daily activities, light housekeeping, and companionship. She was instantly accepted by our father and fit into the family dynamics very quickly. She is very caring and quick to alert the "kids" if she has any concerns or observations. We are so thankful!
