About Rachael

Hello, I am a recently-returned Peace Corps Health Specialist Volunteer with experience in care giving for seniors, children & adults with disabilities. I have my Masters in Public Health & current Certified Nurse Assistant license. I have experience with private care giving for an elderly woman (with reference). Tasks included companionship, assistance with toileting, grooming, bathing, dressing, applying elastic stockings and transferring, self-medication reminders, range of motion exercises, light housekeeping, meal prep and driving to/from medical appointments. I also have experience as trained CNA in a rehabilitation center which included the aforementioned tasks as well as catheter care, colostomy care, wheelchair transfers & ambulation. I have also worked with children (with & without disabilities) as a private nanny, kindergarten teacher & swim instructor. I am friendly, patient & responsible. I enjoy animals & am very comfortable pet sitting as well! Contact me if needed.
