About Priscila

Hi new family! Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. I will be more than happy to answer any additional questions that you may have. So please feel free to contact me! My name is Priscila and I am originally from Brazil. I came here to The USA on an Au pair program. I spent my first year of the program taking care of an adorable 6-month-old baby girl. After completing my first year, I was transferred to a new host family, I was upset to leave my little girl but I was excited for a new adventure. At my new Host family I was taking of two 17-month-old identical twin girls. Since the end of the Au pair program I have still continued to babysit them from time to time. This allowed me an opportunity to see them as well as my Host Family, which I am very grateful for. Although I obtained a lot of experience from my program, I originally came to the program with experience I obtained while growing up in my country. In Brazil I worked as a volunteer at a day care, I have always enjoyed being around kids playing with them and teaching them new stuff and watching them flourish. I had the opportunity to work with kids of all ages as well as personalities and interact with them. This provided me with a very adaptable personality to the child s needs. I am a very energetic, patient, compassionate and punctual person. I am very good at assisting children with discovering their own abilities through their development, from potty-training to teaching them how to count and their ABCs. I am a firm believer in interacting with children instead of putting them in front of a TV. I am always current on the most recent research data for child development and use it with my little girl. My most recent job as a nanny was taking care of a 15 months old wonderful little girl; I left the family a month before giving birth to my own precious baby girl. I would have loved to continue to work for them but sadly they are going to be moving. I would love to find a family that possesses the same values for child development as I do.
