About Portia

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. My journey into childcare began with positive babysitting experiences and a desire to positively impact children's lives. For the past three years, I've had the joy of caring for children, and I'm comfortable with up to three at a time. I have a college degree, along with First Aid Training and CPR Training. I also have Early Child Development Coursework. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I keep parents informed with written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates via text or phone call. I'm eager to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family, creating a fun and supportive environment where your children can thrive, and I can't wait to build lasting memories together!
