I have 7 nephews back home and taking care of them is one of the things I miss the most. I started watching kids when I was 14, taking care of my nephews. One thing you should know about me is I come from a big family, the youngest of six, so I am very family oriented. I moved to Shreveport from Oklahoma City in 2019 for college. We hired Porsche in September and she is currently watching our sixteen month old in the afternoon. She picks him up from day school M-F and then watches him until we get home from work. When we are out of town, she also watches our cats! From day one, she has been caring, thoughtful and dependable. She doesn't hesitate to take the initiative to come up with fun activities, and she's comfortable with responding to his needs by cooking for him or taking him outside for a change of scenery. Our son loves her and he's always happy when she comes through our door. He knows the word bus because of Porsche. It's so great to know that we have someone taking care of him like we take care of him. If you are thinking about contacting her, do it! I'm happy to be a reference!
