About Polly

I've known Polly for 20 years, and she has worked as an aide/caregiver for senior clients that my husband has acquired in his elder care business. Her support has not only been with taking care of those errands and responsibilities that are necessary, but to also be socially and emotionally supportive. She has worked with seniors that have Alzheimer's, mentally challenged, and those that require physical assistance. Polly always makes the time to assist with last minute changes in schedules or helping to relocate senior who has to go to an assisted living situation or nursing home. She is present and aware of the very delicate balance that must be present in the relationship between a caregiver, the client and their immediate family members. Any critical issues or changes in the patient are relayed to the appropriate parties so appropriate decisions are made. It has been very helpful that Polly also has been a pharmacy technician and has conversational Spanish language abilities. She is more than a persona aide, she also has the prescription/medicine background to compensate her CNA experience. She makes a point to be available when a visiting nurse is at the client's home to review their personal situation.
