About Phoenix

Hi Families! My name is Phoenix, I'm a nanny/household manager with 11 years of professional childcare experience and youth literacy outreach. My pronouns are they/them or he/him. I would like to find a family that embraces forming relationships with different kinds of people as an enriching and cherished part of their children's growing experience. My role as a nanny is to allow a child to develop into their own sense of self while I support their social, emotional, physical, linguistic, and intellectual growth with a solid framework of educational activities and experiences. My style is Montessori-inspired and child-lead, which empowers children to be active participants in their development at every stage. I believe children are people who deserve respect, and have extensive experience implementing RIE-inspired connection-based communication.
