Phoebe was our nanny for 5 weeks in May 2022. She took really good care of our almost 1 year old daughter and taught her a lot of new things (sign language, high five, talked to her throughout the day). She came on time and most of the time early to work and even helped my family through COVID. She helped with our dog, did some light housekeeping, and overall took great care of our daughter. Unfortunately during the short 5 weeks she was with us she had a lot of personal things come up (car accident, friend dying, mom in horrible accident) and even left us in a bind for an entire week without clear communication. Never once did she provide proof of these emergencies and we gave her paid time off regardless. Ultimately she suddenly quit over text message and now we are left without a caretaker for our daughter. We are quite disappointed in how things ended and her lack of professionalism especially given how empathetic and accommodating we were to her.
