Although I have never had a paid tutoring job, I have assisted with homework before. I worked full-time with a family of three boys and helped them with homework, reading, and studying on a regular basis. I learn best by doing, so I try to teach this way. I don't give answers to problem. I walk through questions, sometimes asking clarifying questions until an answer is reached. English and art are my preferred areas, but I am willing to help with lower level math, science, social studies, or psychology.

Philip is a terrific nanny. He's been working with us for more than a year and is incredibly dependable, caring, and helpful. He's great with homework help, getting the boys to and from their activities, and keeping them busy at home. I can't say enough about how wonderful he has been to us!
