About Peyton

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I am so thankful to have grown up in this city; a place full of cultural diversity, high education and focus on the arts. I took advantage of what my environment had to offer and began studying violin, piano and classical singing at a very young age. I received my degree in the arts at Houston Baptist University in December 2020, and have been singing professionally for about 7 years. Throughout my time as a student, I spent time volunteering at my church Great St Matthews for the clothes, food, and toiletries drive. Additionally, I worked as a therapeutic mentor to infants, kids and preteens who have experienced trauma. My role was to help them overcome these traumas and find ways to help better elevate their lives. I enjoy giving back to my community because it is my community that made me who I am. My purpose is to help those around me to the best of my ability and be a light in a dull space.
