About Petrina

I started working with kids as a job when I was 16. However, growing up with a single parent and a special needs little brother forced me to learn about childcare from the young age of about 6 years old. I knew how to cook full meals, bathe, help with homework, and more before I was even 8 years old. Back then it was a necessity to take care of a kid but now it is something I am passionate about and very good at. One thing you should know about me is that to me, babysitting is not just a job. When a family hires me to come into their home and their children's lives, it's not something I take lightly. I care for the families I end up working for as if they were my own. It's not just a job, it is a life, someone's child, that I am not only responsible for but that I am lucky to be a part of. The "bare minimum" does not exist for me because I believe that's how it should be. I don't only aim to form a bond with the child, I also aim to make their parents lives as easy as possible.
