About Petra

Hi Parents! I'm Petra. I'm warm, cheerful, and reliable, and I truly care about making children feel safe, happy, and understood. I love kids because they are honest, funny, curious, and full of life. I enjoy creating a calm, loving space where they feel listened to and cared for. I started my childcare experience in Hungary, caring for infant twins. Later, I supported a little boy with autism and his older brother, who had hearing and speech difficulties. I'm still in touch with the family, and the mother is happy to be a reference. I also worked in Israel for one year, caring for a baby girl and supporting the family after birth. In the U. S., I was a live-in au pair for a 3-month-old baby girl, caring for her full-time for one year. I learned so much from that family, especially because the mother was a pediatric ER doctor in New York City. In my spare time, I love painting, reading, cooking, walks, outdoor activities, and Harry Potter.
