About Petra

I've been babysitting for friends and family for as long as I can remember, and I genuinely love working with kids! I'm currently a student at UCSB, and I spend my breaks caring for children because it's something I truly enjoy. This summer, I'm looking for a consistent caregiving position where I can fully dedicate my time to a family. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for your children while making life a little easier for your family. I'd describe my personality as calm under pressure, warm, and patient. I started working with kids when I was 10 through volunteering with children who have special needs. From elementary through high school, I attended summer camps with them and helped at fun events and celebrations throughout the year. At 13, I began babysitting for my young neighbors almost every weekend whenever their parents needed a helping hand.
