Hi! My name is Petra. I have over 25 years of experience working with children of all ages (0-15 years). Also, I have experience working with children who study English as a second language or have developmental disabilities. I used to run a preschool for many years. Sadly, I had to shut it down because of the pandemic. I am currently teaching English as a second language at an Elementary School in grades TK-5. I am married with two teenage children. I would love to help your family take care of your kids (and pets) while you work, go out on a date, or take a break from being a parent. I am creative, a quick learner with good problem-solving skills, great communication skills, empathy, and with always a smile on my face. :) I'm available on the WEEKENDS.

Petra was excellent! She helped us for over a week during our visit to OC with 3 kids aged 5, 2, and 6 months old. She is obviously a professional and we can’t wait to work with her again. She was punctual and reliable, showing up every single morning on time with a bag full of educational goodies for each of my 3 little ones (all different ages and stages!) She calmed my toddler through various tantrums. She perfectly kept the baby on my strict schedule for sleep and feeding. Petra was well-versed with all safety measures for children and allowed me to relax having them in her care. She was also willing to help with extra random things as needed. By the end of the trip, my kids genuinely loved her and I missed her once we got home. Absolutely recommended.
