About Petra

I have been working with children of all ages for the past 30 years. I have extensive training in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have worked in Montessori and Reggio Emilia Approach settings; special needs children; as well as Children on the Spectrum. I have worked with DCS, my family and I fostered 33 children. At times we received multiple placements and/ or sibling groups. I have 6 adult children. I am a certified PATH (parents as tender healers) instructor from the state TN I have taught in a German kindergarten setting for two years, until we moved back to the U. S I trained interns, and I am certified in early speech and cognitive screening. I owned and operated a daycare in Clarksville, TN, for 15 years. I am trained in the regional intervention program (RIP) for the positive behavior management program for preschoolers.
