As a professional educator, my journey into teaching was unconventional but deeply rewarding. Initially pursuing my passion for surfing in Puerto Rico, I eventually followed my calling into education, driven by a profound commitment to lifelong learning and intrinsic motivation. My approach to teaching transcends traditional methods; I see myself not just as a teacher, but as a mentor and life coach, dedicated to empowering students through systems of success tailored to their individual needs. With a solid foundation in a variety of mathematical and language arts curricula, including everyday math, Common Core standards, IXL, and Prodigy, I bring a versatile skill set to the classroom. My academic background includes an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, equipping me with the expertise to foster a student-centered learning environment.
