Where to start with Peggy as a caregiver - so many amazing things I could say. Peg has a special way with her ability to care for different ages, needs, and personalities on good days and bad days. Peg has been caring for our 3 children (11,9,7) for nearly 2 years now and she is a true blessing to our family! We entrust Peg to pick up the kids from school and help with after-school activities such as homework, snacks, light dinners, and shuttling to and from sports and after school activities. With my husband and I as two working parents with demanding jobs, Peg is fantastic with holding the kids accountable to a schedule, homework, chores and expectations around the house. She is always on time and gets the kids to where they need to be on time without fail! Peg also goes the extra mile to help foster a loving connection and be another adult supporting each of our kids with their own challenges or issues as sometimes the after school timeframe can be tough for children. Peg downloads the day and helps them work through problems and big feelings. She is stern with expectations but in such a loving way. As parents without much family support, Peg also graciously shares her experiences as a mother raising her own children as well as her experiences as a teacher with my husband and I, which helps us be better parents. We consider Peg part of our family and she has truly been a key reason for our children thriving! Anyone would be lucky to have her as someone to care for your family! :)
