I enjoy learning and helping another to enjoy a subject is such a great experience. I will work with your student to break down a problem to have it make sense. As a student who needed this kind of approach, I'm happy to provide that here. It's one thing to work a job you don't like. It's another to help a student understand something they didn't before! Block by block, I'll help them put the pieces together to make a wonderful educational creation. It's no longer just a job, but something I look forward to! I started tutoring right out of college as I was working as a youth mentor. I worked with kindergarten up to 5th grade for a few months, and then I was assigned to work with 5th grade solely. This March, I had the opportunity to work with 3rd and 4th graders with English Language Arts (ELA) and 3rd graders with math.
