I have been babysitting since I was 14 and working at an elementary school, where I am now the director of childcare, for almost 5 years. I have experience with children of all ages, from newborn to high school. I also have experience caring for special needs children as well. I am hard working, energetic, nurturing and find joy in building meaningful, impactful relationships with children and families. I am very active myself, so my goal is to encourage kids to engage in crafts, outside games and other interactive activities, rather than resorting to screen time. Payten built rapport very easily and confidently with my 2 granddaughters as their babysitter. She played with them at home and at a park. She was observant to their needs at all times. Payten was personable and sweet to my granddaughters. She handled minor tantrums effectively and was consistent with how she spoke to them. I would highly recommend her for any nanny position.
