63-year-old male, college grad, available to help senior men to engage in light activities - fishing, dog park, nature walk, music, chatting, etc., for a couple of hours each day or week. My father passed away two years ago at 92, and my 89-year-old Mom currently lives alone, so I know first-hand that regular activities and companionship are necessary to stay vibrant and engaged with daily life. Living in Florida for over 30 years, I have seen many vibrant, yet lonely seniors wither and deteriorate, as friends and family pass away and they have less contact with the outside world through activities that they used to enjoy. I can take Dad fishing, for a walk in the park, an easy bike ride, tennis, or even do a singalong (I play guitar) or just sit and talk about the weather or the day's events. I am not a certified health professional, and not a home health aid. I'm just a compassionate, honest, literate person who can be a friend that stops by and takes Dad out for a walk.
