I'm retired from the field of early childhood education, but the older I get I see the similarities between working with children and working with the elderly. I think that many of the activities that I would plan for preschoolers would also be interesting and fun for those in their golden years. My father is 94 years old and is very stubbornly independent so I do know the patience it takes to coexist with older folks. I just thought I would add this to my profile because I think I would really enjoy offering some companionship and help to some older seniors. I'm 71. I will only be in the area for a couple months, so I'm not interested in any long-term reoccurring jobs.
