I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring and reliable. I like caring for seniors as a way of honoring and appreciating them for their contributions and achievements in our society. I'm looking for a job that I can help make a meaningful impact in someone's life while making a livable income to support my family. I started caring for seniors when my elderly friend, a flight engineer with a major airline had to be away from home for a couple of months and he needed someone to take care of his beloved wife who had a quadriplegic condition. Three years ago, I went on to certify as nursing assistant and I have since taken care of a couple of male seniors, some until their demise. In my spare time, I like to go for a walk in the neighborhood and take photos of nature. One thing you should know about me is that I like to listen to/share jokes and riddles. My skills include effective communication, patience and empathy.
