I worked in my country for three years in a preschool center. Also I worked in Philadelphia from December 2009 until August 2011 in a daycare center. My previous work experience includes: Ensuring that the children were supervised at ALL times. Acting as a liaison between the children and parents addressing problems and answering questions regarding the children. Creating a stimulating environment for the child by conducting developmentally appropriate activities. Interacting with and providing guidance and care to all children within the center. Changing diapers and/or assisting children with their toilet needs while adhering to hand washing procedures. Encouraging classroom participation and positive interaction with other children. Redirecting undesirable behavior to promote positive socialization. Responding to children's verbal and nonverbal indications of need and/or requests. Also I have three children, 12, 7 and 3 years old. They speak Spanish and English. I'm teaching them every day the proper Spanish.
