I have experience teaching, and I love working with children. As a teacher/teacher's assistant, I have had experience working with newborns, preschoolers, and older children as well. I am the mother of a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy. In my free time, I train and foster dogs. My step mother is from Puerto Rico, so I understand some Spanish; however, I am not fluent. I love to plan fun/educational activities as well as play outside. I grew up with a librarian who led the children's section in a Public Library, so I am always prepared with children's books and crafts. I have worked as a nanny/household manager for the past 20 years. I am great at following schedules/routines, but I can also be flexible. I understand each family will have their own ways of doing things, and I try to respect each family's uniqueness. I always try my best to meet or exceed expectations.
