About Paula

About me: I have more experience working with infants and preschool-aged children (ages 0-6). Since last school year, I've been working as an assistant teacher of a Montessori homeschool program (ages 3-6), where I help with daily routines and activities and often lead the movement time researching and looking to support coordination, body awareness, and self-regulation (Dance is my favorite hobbie). I tend to observe and follow their lead, looking for opportunities to foster their independence and offering as much patience and presence as possible. I enjoy creating a nurturing environments using music, dance, outdoor play, arts and krafts or other hands-on activities are a natural part of how I engage with children, always adapting to their age and interests. My special plus is being a polyglot: I speak Portuguese (native), French and English (fluent), and conversational Spanish, and I like introducing language naturally through songs, stories, and everyday moments.
