About Paula

Growing up in school we used to go next door to the facility with disabled children. As a teenager I volunteered at the nursing home my mother worked at. In my late teens, our family owned several adult family homes where I helped people with varying abilities and medical needs. During that time I went to school and to become certified as I really enjoyed helping people. I went to school for my CNA, got my NAR, HCA, am nurse delegated, , have extensive certificates in classes for Alzheimer/dementia, back ground check, first aid/ CPR, love to cook, certificate of completion for HIV/AIDS, modified fundamentals, and recently had a clear TB test. I've stayed home to raise my children and had a great experience home schooling my daughter. When she went back to public school, I decided my kids were standing on their own and I needed a new focus. I've always loved helping people. I have many skills, a lot of empathy and common sense. A lot of experience with many different circumstances.
