About Paula

Hi, my name is Paula. I'm a NYC DOE substitute teacher who just completed a year as a long-term teacher in a 3rd grade classroom in Brooklyn. I love working with kids and encouraging their creative side, especially through arts and crafts. Beyond the classroom, I also tutor and enjoy spending time with seniors, bringing the same patience and warmth to both. Whether it's a classroom of 8-year-olds, a one-on-one tutoring session, or calm, attentive company for an older adult, I adapt easily to what someone needs. I'm fluent in English and Russian, which I'm happy to bring into a bilingual household.
