About Patty

Greetings! My name is Patty, I am a mother of 5 young adults, a kids yoga teacher, a lover of the outdoors, a gardener, and a health enthusiast. I have over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants through teens. My background in childcare includes over 10 years of teaching kids yoga, 2 years of being a school garden teacher to grades pre-K through eighth, over 20 years of providing various in-home childcare (for the past 1. 5 years I have worked with six different families in Durango providing a nanny share) and raising my children for over 20 years. Some activities I enjoy with kids include exploring and learning outside, practicing kids' yoga, creating sensory bins, reading, science experiments, art projects, cooking, and other age-appropriate activities. I also love going to parks or other places in the community. In addition to caring for your child, I can provide your family with light housekeeping, preparing nutritious meals, running errands, etc.
