I have been caring for children from my early teens, as a babysitter, teacher, camp councilor, and daycare staffer. I am CPR (infant/child as well as adult) and First Aid certified, and proficient in Spanish with experience in working with bilingual and Spanish-only children, from toddlers to early teens. (I have worked in a daycare with children 2-10). I taught children's religious education classes for four years, one as an assistant working with third-graders and three years as a primary teacher for first-graders, with between 10-15 children in a class. As a camp councilor, I have worked primarily with 2-4-year-old day campers for four summers, planning activities and snacks for groups of 5-8 children. Additionally, I have worked with 6-9-year-old campers at a health program, which included health and nutrition instruction. In addition to this, I have been babysitting for years from children for all ages, but especially infants and toddlers, and can provide excellent references from past clients. (I was the first non-grandparent sitter for several babies in my small town) I love working with kids, and look forward to hearing from you.
