Hi! I'm Patricia, an experienced educator and mom currently on maternity leave with my baby boy. While I'm home with him, I'd love the opportunity to care for another little one. I think it would be wonderful for my baby to have some social interaction with another child while also allowing me to support another family. Professionally, I'm a first-grade lead teacher at an independent K-12 school in Oakland. Before transitioning to elementary education, I spent four years teaching preschool, and I hold a Master's Degree in Education from the University of the Pacific. I have over 15 years of experience working with children. Since I'm currently on maternity leave, my availability is very flexible. I would prefer to provide care from my home in San Ramon, where I'll also be caring for my own baby. I'm open to discussing different schedules depending on your family's needs. I'm also available for tutoring for elementary-aged children if that's something your family may be interested in.
