About Patricia

A longtime resident of Baltimore, I am a dynamic, Montessori-trained, bilingual elementary school teacher and artist. A graduate of Middlebury College where I majored in Art, I have my AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Certification in Elementary Education in addition to Art Instruction K-12 licensure from The University of Minnesota. I have broad Spanish Language translation experience in educational, business, and civic venues. In 2017, I received Loyola University's Literacy Educator of the Year Award, a result of parent nomination. As an educator, artist, and parent, I anchor my practice in core values and beliefs to care for students' mental, spiritual, social, artistic, and physical well-being, community mindfulness, and lifelong learning through multiple literacies.
